The urban surrounding is characterized by a large-scale architecture with prefabricated facades from the former socialist origin. These express a machine-like anonymity.Our design creates a differentiated architecture, a cozy heart found in the middle of the urban area. The main building refers in its dimension to the neighbouring urban development. Its division into four basic units and the lively design language with a warm mineral facade material gives the building a differentiated small-scale character that exudes individuality. The architecture expresses the diversity of homes and the people living therein.The lively structuring of the facade creates differing spacial qualities to apartments with a fundamentally identical plan – depending on their location in the building. With limited means, we ensure that there are only few identical apartments in the building.A variety of living and working unit sizes and layouts can be modeled within the system. The system is designed to always allow an optimum plan layout. The interior is flexible and can be adapted to different needs. This can be very useful In the design and marketing phase of rental housing.
