Hotel

The planned hotel and residential building is located on a busy street next to Alexanderplatz at central Berlin. The hotel brand is a "Hampton by Hilton“, the sophisticated budget brand of the Hilton Hotel Group. It is located on a wing at Otto-Braun-Straße, whereas the living area is situated on the wing at Mollstrasse. Both uses are seperated.The architecture of the building refers in its typology strongly to its surroundings with its large scale, massive buildings and its simple but present facades. The facade is made of white parapet and window hinges with partially perforated and corrugated metal cladding.The L-shaped building closes the block edge of Otto-Braun- and Mollstrasse. Between the neighboring buildings and the new construction a long, largely leafy inner area is created, which opens out to the street. Here a quiet place with amenity for the neighborhood is developed.It is nine-storeys high and divided into a largely glazed ground floor with partially enclosed areas and eight upper floors with hotels and residential use. In the basement, underground parking is provided.
